covering your what-ifs.

Last fall, I let my policy with Progressive expire. I went with them because they seemed to offer the best coverage for the money. Now that I'm mobile again, I started shopping around to see if I could get a better deal. I looked into Dairyland, which lots of people on the interwebs recommend but they wanted 4 times the amount Progressive wanted for the same coverage. Really? Let's try GEICO, hmmm, not much better. Still over double of what Flo is asking. I didn't even finish my All State quote due to the "wonderful" customer service I received when I called about an issue.

Looks like I'm going back to Progressive. Who is your policy through?

I love this pic.

I have State Farm, Geico screwed us once and the Chairman of Progressive is Pweter Lewis who donates to anti-gun causes, MoveOn.org and a host of Lefty-think. "His funding for these groups was conditional on matching contributions from George Soros"

Hmmm... I'll give State Farm a call and see what they can do. Obviously, I'm not fond of people donating to anti-gun causes but damage to my wallet is a major deciding factor.

I use Allstate, I have all my insurance through them and my agent gives me unbelievable deals. No one else can even come close. I pay $124.00 for the year for my FJ. "disclaimer" I am an old bastard with a pristine driving record. Up here in Michigan, especially the Metro Detroit area we have some of the highest insurance rates in the country. That buck twenty four is like paying a fiver in these parts. I have never had a problem with a claim, they come out, take a look and cut a check, no complaints here.

I wrote "Pweter"? Sheesh! I've had them since forever, and now we have both cars and the Condo too so we get discounts. And they cover my guns!

All State called me 4 times over the weekend, I never answered the call. I googled the number to find out who was calling. Ugh.

I still need to give State Farm a call.
