If you have floaties in the tank from rust or what have you that gets in the line it can hold open the float needle.Surlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11809693173008695179noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16226011.post-35124403649512874862007-03-11T09:17:00.000-04:002007-03-11T09:17:00.000-04:00Oh and 1 more thing.Set your carbs somewhere that ...Oh and 1 more thing.Set your carbs somewhere that you can see all float drain holes before you put them back on bike.I found that a bucket and some woodshims worked pretty good for this.Set them on on the floor ontop of bucket and shims. Now run a fuel line to carb from fuel source tank etc.... Now walk away and come back about ten minutes later and if all is well you will see no fuel leaking. You mught still have to adjust the float a little more etc... this is alot better then putting carbs on and then bling they are still leaking.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16226011.post-55478048074016614702007-03-11T09:09:00.000-04:002007-03-11T09:09:00.000-04:00this is in regards to carbs leaking gas.Not sure i...this is in regards to carbs leaking gas.Not sure if you have gotten it figured out yet,but here it is.Recheck your float heights and needle valve to make sure they aren't sticking.I had the same problem did this and bingo no more leaks.you can check this site for more specs per year for floats heights etc.http://www.hondachopper.com/carb.specs.html hope this helps.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
