Today would be better if I had a dirt bike. Something small like an XR100 would be perfect. Throw on the carhartt suit, some armor and hit the abandoned streets. I'll have to keep an eye out for one this year. Would be handy for the coming zombie apocalypse.

I'd sell that BSA of mine and buy a dual sport if I could find someone as stupid as me to sell it to.
There are plenty of people that would buy your fine British motorcycle. If you want, send me the details and I can email it to some buddies who ride with the Ton Up guys.
My problem is I've done all the heavy lifting on this damn thing already and it really only needs a set of carbs (or these re-sleaved), a battery and paint. Just don't have the $$$$ to finish it. And that pisses me off a bunch.
I have more invested in the damn thing than I do in my BigBluePlasticMotorcycle which I've put close close to 80,000 miles on while the BSA has been sitting.
I know you never go into these projects thinking you'll get your money out of them, but I'd have to take a serious beating, (make that HUGE beating/ass rape) if I sold it as it is right now and I can't bring myself to do that........yet.
I can see that changing in the next 6 months though if I don't get back on that project soon.
I understand. I lost my arse when I sold my CL450. There was a ton of money wrapped up in that bike, plus the guy got a ton of good spare parts.
The only saving grace is that I learned a lot while I was pissing that money away.
You could always sell the BSA with the standard "Carbs need work" and leave it at that...
